How do I properly ground my lighting system?

  1. Main Trailer Plug:
    • Ensure the white ground wire on the main trailer plug is securely connected to the trailer's tongue.
  2. Tail Lights:
    • Each tail light has a white ground wire that must make good contact with the metal tail light bracket.
  3. Clearance Lights:
    • Single-wire clearance lights must be anchored directly into a metal fender bracket.
    • If the clearance light is anchored to a plastic fender, run a separate ground wire from the light's stud to the steel fender bracket.
