Super Lube Hub and Spindle Maintenance Guide

How to Maintain Your Super Lube Hub or Spindle

To keep your Super Lube hub/spindle in top condition, it’s recommended to replace the grease every 3 months or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Super Lube Spindle/Hub Lubrication

  1. Remove the rubber expansion plug from the grease (hub) cap.
  2. Attach a conventional grease gun securely to the grease fitting located at the end of the spindle (for spindle lube) or behind the hub (for hub lube).
  3. Pump grease slowly while rotating the wheel. The new grease will force out old grease through the front of the hub/spindle and into the dust cap reservoir.
  4. Continue pumping until only fresh, clean grease is visible.Wipe away excess grease from the hub and cap area.
  5. Replace the rubber plug once greasing is complete.

✅ Use Lucas “Red n’ Tacky” or a quality lithium-based marine grease such as Castrol Pyroplex Red.
